The 3M Surgical Clipper was designed to offer a safe alternative to shaving for pre-op hair removal. When properly used, it clips the hair above the patient’s skin without causing nicks or cuts. Single-use blades lower the risk of cross contamination. There’s no need to reuse the blade or dunk it into messy disinfectants. Simply pop off the blade into a sharps waste receptacle, clean the neck and handle of the clipper with an alcohol wipe, attach a new blade, and you’re ready for another patient.
